Projets soutenus par une bourse du Conseil Européen de la Recherche

Décernées par le Conseil européen de la recherche, les bourses ERC sont des financements prestigieux, octroyées à des chercheurs individuels, pour financer des projets de recherche fondamentale de leur choix.

Le Conseil européen de la recherche (ERC) décerne plusieurs catégories de bourses:

ERC Starting Grant, dédiées aux chercheurs qui débutent leur carrière;
ERC Consolidator Grant, pour soutenir les chercheurs qui souhaitent établir une équipe de recherche et développer leur carrière;
ERC Advanced Grant, pour chercheurs confirmés souhaitant développer un tout nouveau champ de recherche
ERC Synergy Grant
et ERC Proof of Concept Grant

Le projet se focalise sur les "empires" d'Afrique de l'Ouest entre 1200 et 1850 de notre ère. - KONGOKING: Pierre De Maret (Centre d'Anthropologie culturelle, Faculté de Philosophie et Sciences sociales) est associé à ce projet, piloté par l'Université de Gand. Le projet revient sur les origines, les débuts et le développement du Royaume Congo depuis l'an 1500.
