COVID-19: access to study and workspaces

In order to allow you to attend your classes and teaching activities in the best conditions, the University, in addition to the library spaces already open, provides you with silent study rooms to study in peace and quiet, as well as non-silent work rooms for remote classes.

Premises open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm from 29 April to 16 May, included (Thursday 13 and Monday 24 of May are bank holidays).

Study spaces are available in the libraries through a booking system.

SOLBOSCH CAMPUS

  • Silent study hall:  U building - UB2.252A - 124 seatings available

LA PLAINE CAMPUS

  • Silent study hall: Forum building, ground-floor level, Forum E: 50 seatings available

ERASME CAMPUS

  • Silent study hall:
    • F building, Expo room: 50 seatings available
    • F building, 2.304 (Bordet auditorium): 49 seatings available

FLAGEY CAMPUS

  • Silent study hall:
    • Flagey entrance, level 0, Victor Bourgeois auditorium: 50 seatings available
    • Flagey entrance, level 0, local F.Co.1.6 « Mezzanine »: 8 seatings available
  • Non-silent workspace:
    • Flagey building - Flagey entrance, level 1, Be.1.8: 3 seatings available - closed on Saturday
    • Flagey building - Flagey entrance, level 1, Co.1.4: 3 seatings available - closed on Saturday
    • Flagey building - Flagey entrance, level 2, Be2.2: 6 seatings available - closed on Saturday

The dining halls on the different campuses are also open Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm offering a place to eat:
  • Erasmus: restaurant "Les Presses" - 50 seatings available
  • Solbosch: restaurant "Campouce" - 100 seatings available
  • La Plaine: restaurant "Le Forum" - the sandwich shop - 50 seatings available
  • Flagey: cafeteria - 15 seatings available
 

As a reminder, access to the study and workspaces and dining halls is reserved for ULB students only.
The rules of physical distance and circulation, as well as the compulsory wearing of masks, remain applicable wherever you are on campus. Non-compliance with the health and safety rules may lead to the temporary or prolonged prohibition of access to the premises.

What can I do in a non-silent workspace?

  • Take distance learning courses with interaction
  • Performing group work via Teams
  • Use a headset to interact via remote collaboration tools
