FARI Brussels Conference 2025 - AI, Robots & Us: Living with Intelligent Agents?

The FARI Brussels Conference is returning for its fourth edition, bringing together researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and engaged citizens to explore the evolving role of AI and Robotics in society. Taking place on November 17 and 18, 2025, this two-day event in Brussels will feature in-depth discussions, keynote presentations, and opportunities for collaboration. This year's theme, AI, Robots & Us: Living with Intelligent Agents?, explores how these systems are shaping every aspect of our lives and what it means to coexist with them in a rapidly transforming world.

The first day at Studio Flagey (November 17) will dive into the expanding influence of intelligent agents across all aspects of life. From automating critical public services to shaping decision-making in governance, finance, and healthcare, AI and Robotics are becoming indispensable. But what does it mean to live alongside increasingly autonomous systems? How do we ensure they align with human values and societal needs? Leading experts, philosophers, activists, and regulators will explore these pressing questions, considering both the opportunities and risks posed by intelligent agents. Discussions will cover the ethical, legal, and societal adaptations required to integrate these technologies responsibly.

On the second day of the event — a Partner Day curated by our collaborators — organized at BeCentral (November 18), the focus will shift to AI, Data, and Robotics as catalysts for scientific discovery and innovation. From revolutionizing research methodologies to enabling more efficient and sustainable solutions, these technologies are reshaping how knowledge is produced and applied. Attendees will explore collaborative initiatives, cutting-edge applications, and the role of public-private partnerships in fostering responsible innovation. The day will offer insights into how AI-driven tools, digital twins, and data governance strategies can drive scientific progress while maintaining transparency and accountability.

What to Expect

The FARI Conference 2025 will feature panel discussions, inspiring keynote speeches, and interactive sessions showcasing cutting-edge research.
